1. Club Overview

  • Stadium: Anfield
  • Location: Liverpool, England
  • Capacity: 61,276
  • Official Site: liverpoolfc.com

People from Liverpool are known for having a very strong local identity. Known as Scousers, Anfield the home of Liverpool is atmospheric at the best of times but those extra special occassions can be found on big European fixtures on midweek evenings. Hearing 40,000 people singing You'll never walk alone will be something that you won't forget in a hurry.

2. How to Buy Tickets

Liverpool FC operates a membership-based ticketing system. There is no general sale for Premier League matches — only official members can enter the ticket ballot or access the club’s resale platform. Understanding the different membership types is essential, especially for high-demand fixtures at Anfield. The memebrship system uses a points based system so those who are going for a one off game will struggle to get tickets. You will need to target mid-week games against low level teams. The alternative to guarantee a ticket is to buy a hospitality ticket, which is what we would recommend.

Membership Tiers

  • All Red Full Membership (£42.99/year):
    • All match tickets are sold in two sales windows. One is in July and the other is in November.
    • Access to late availability ticket sales before each home game.
  • All Red Light Membership (£26.99/year):
    • Same ticket access as Full Members — including Premier League member sales and late availability windows.
  • All Red Junior Membership (£20.99/year):
    • Available only for supporters aged 0–16.
    • Chance to be an official matchday mascot (ages 6–11).
    • Same ticket access as Full Members — including Premier League member sales and late availability windows.
  • Disability Membership (price varies):
    • Access to accessible seating areas with companion ticket included.
    • Must register and verify eligibility with LFC’s Disability Support Team.
    • Ballot access and Auto Cup Ticket Scheme eligibility.
    • Dedicated support from the club’s disability liaison team.
  • Other Tiers (not relevant to most tourists):
    • All Red Video: £4.99/month. Video-only streaming membership. No access to ticket ballot so don't purchase this.
    • All Red Essential: Free. Access to club news, offers, and select content. No access to ticket ballot so don't purchase this.

How the Ballot Works

Liverpool FC runs a seasonal ticket ballot for home Premier League matches called: All Red. Tickets are not sold to the general public. Instead only Full, Light (and Junior) members can apply and you must register during a short window in July and then another in November for a chance to be allocated tickets to selected games.

  • The majority of Premier League home match tickets are sold in two key periods each season. During these two weeks, tickets are available exclusively for Official Members to buy online.
  • The first Members’ Ticket Sale week takes place in July and gives Members the chance to purchase tickets for games in the first half of the Premier League season, up until January.
  • The second Members’ Ticket Sale week takes place in November and gives Members the opportunity to buy tickets for games for the second half of the season, from January through to May.

How the Seasonal Ballots Work

Step 1

Visit www.liverpoolfc.com/tickets.
Click the ‘BUY NOW’ button on any of the HOME games available during the Members’ Ticket Sale.
After clicking ‘BUY NOW’, you may see a short verification screen while the site confirms you're not a bot or spammer.
Due to high traffic during the sale, you may also be placed in a queue.

Step 2

Once you reach the front of the queue, you’ll be redirected to the Ticketing site where a list of fixtures will be displayed.
Select the game(s) you want to attend from the list.
The "Important Information" section will show availability of Adult/Junior seating and Restricted Views.
You will have 30 minutes to complete your purchase — a session timer will be visible on the page.

Step 3

Choose your seats from the stadium plan. You can select your preferred stand, area, and number of seats. The system will assign the best available seat(s).
The Area Availability key indicates where the best availability is.

  1. Click on the area where you wish to sit.
  2. Use the + and – buttons to choose the number of seats.
  3. You must click the ‘BUY’ button to add the seats to your basket.

Alternatively, you can use the drop-down menus on the right-hand side to select your preferred Stand, Area, and quantity. The system will allocate the best available seats in that section.
Important messages (e.g. reasons why seats were not added) will appear in red at the top of the screen.

If seat availability is limited, individual seat selection may appear. You must select the seat and click ‘BUY’ before returning to the stadium overview — otherwise the seat will not be added and will be released.
To buy seats in different areas, repeat the process, always ensuring you click ‘BUY’ after each selection.

After adding seats, you will be redirected to your shopping cart. From there, you can click ‘ADD MORE TO YOUR BASKET’ to continue selecting tickets.

Step 4

In your shopping basket, review your selections. Remove any tickets you do not need.
Make sure you are logged in by clicking ‘Login to purchase’. Sign into your LFC account to proceed.

Step 5

Once logged in, your tickets will be shown in your basket with columns for Customer, Price Band, Seat, and Price.
If you're buying with friends or family, and have linked their memberships beforehand, click the "Friends and Family" button.
Assign each ticket to a member and select the correct price band for each person.
Then click "Check Out" and follow the payment instructions to complete your order.

All tickets are non-transferable and delivered via NFC to the LFC ticketing app.

Additional Members' Sale

If you're unsuccessful in the initial July or November sales, you may still have a chance via the Additional Members Sale.
Members must register for this sale on a game-by-game basis — the registration window opens approximately 3 weeks before the match.
Registration dates are announced on the ticketing site.

Only members who register are eligible to access tickets during this sale.
Any tickets returned via the Ticket Exchange will be made available here.

The Ticket Exchange usually opens 1–2 weeks before the match and closes on matchday.
Because tickets can be returned at any time during this window, members are advised to check the site regularly.

Local Ballot Option

If you have a friend or relative living within a Liverpool (L) postcode, they may be eligible for the Local General Sale Ballot.
This ballot provides a limited number of £9 tickets and significantly increases the chance of securing entry to selected matches.

Note: Certain high-demand fixtures may require you to have attended previous games to be eligible.

Digital Tickets

All tickets are issued digitally via the:Liverpool app and use NFC tap-to-enter technology. You’ll need to download your digital pass in advance. This system works like Apple Pay or Google Wallet and is scanned at the turnstiles on matchday.

Disability Access Members

Disabled supporters must register their disability with Liverpool Football Club in order to purchase tickets at the disabled concessionary rate.

To register as a disabled supporter, you must submit one of the following documents via email (it is unclear exactly what non-British disabled supporters are supposed to do.):

  • A letter from the Department of Works and Pensions confirming entitlement to the higher or middle rate mobility/care component of Disability Living Allowance.
  • A letter from your GP confirming the nature of your disability.
  • A letter confirming you receive Enhanced rate of Personal Independent Payment (PIP).
  • BD8 Certificate (Visually Impaired supporters only).

AND

  • Photographic ID (e.g., Passport or Driver’s License showing your date of birth).

All ticket sales take place in conjunction with non-disabled supporter ticket sales.

Tips for Ballot

  • Ensure your payment card is valid and has sufficient funds.
  • Add group members to your Liverpool friends and family network ahead of time.
  • Be prepared for long waits in the two seasonal ballot windows.

For guaranteed access, hospitality tickets are available from approximately £300–£600+ depending on the fixture and package. Options include:

Liverpool have several hospitality packages available including:

Japan Airlines Lounge (also known as the 1892 Lounge)

With this package you get a three course meal, welcome drink on arrival, tea/coffee at half time, free wifi, a visit from a former men’s team player, free beer/wine/soda, and of course a seat which is located next to the Directors Box in the lower tier (in block L14) in the main stand. The lounge opens 3 hours before the match starts and for 1 hour after the game finishes.

The Boot Room Restaurant

This package comes with a three course meal, a visit from a former men’s team player before the game, free wifi, tea/coffee after the game, a free matchday programme (a small magazine for that day's game) which makes a nice souvenir. Of course you also get a ticket to the game and you’ll be sat in the Anfield Road stand in block AU4. This package also gives you access to The Liverpool FC Story (the teams museum) before the game.

Sevens Lounge

This package gets you a three course buffet meal, half time and full time refreshments, free wifi, and of course a ticket to the match. You'll be sat in the Kop End of the Lower Kenny Dalglish stand in block KN. The lounge opens 3 hours before kick off and for 1 hour after the game.

Eights Lounge

This package is the same as the Sevens Lounge, although you do get a free matchday programme (a small magazine for that day's game) which makes a nice souvenir. The seat location is different too, you’ll be sat in the Anfield Road end of the Lower Kenny Dalglish stand in block KG.

The Carlsberg Dugout

It’s a lounge area where you get some free street food, a single halftime drink (house beer - probably Carlsberg!, house wine or soda). You also get free wifi, and a free matchday programme (a small magazine for that day's game) which makes a nice souvenir. Your seat will be in the far wing section of the middle tier of the Main stand. You also get a visit from a former mens or womens player. The lounge opens 3 hours before kick off and for 1 hour after the match finishes.

Chemistry Lounge

This is premium hospitality (whatever that means, probably premium prices), you don’t just get any old three course meal, but you get an exceptional three course meal (does this mean the other meals in the other lounges are not exceptional??). You also get a welcome drink, complimentary beer/wine/soda, whilst at half time you get tea/coffee and some snacks. You will also get a free matchday programme (a small magazine for that day's game) which makes a nice souvenir. You’ll never walk alone though because a former mens or womens player will join you at some point too. Your seat will be in the Main stand in block M6.

The Beautiful Game

You get another exceptional three course meal, you also get a welcome drink, complimentary beer/wine/soda, whilst at half time you get tea/coffee and some snacks. You will also get a free matchday programme (a small magazine for that day's game) which makes a nice souvenir. You’ll never walk alone though because a former mens or womens player will join you at some point too. This is a very similar package to the Chemistry Lounge, but this time the seat is located in block M4 of the Main Stand.

Reds Bar

This package will get you one free drink (beer/wine/soda), tea and coffee and of course a ticket to the game. There is an optional meal which you have to pay for, and there is a bar too which you’ll have to pay extra for to get drinks. You’ll be sat in block KG of the Lower Sir Kenny Dalglish Stand. The lounge opens up three hours before the game and for one hour after the game.

Brodies

This package gets you one complimentary drink (beer/wine/soda) which is served at half time, free street food and tea/coffee. You will also get a free matchday programme (a small magazine for that day's game) which makes a nice souvenir. Again you’ll get a visit from a former mens or womens player. Your seat is located in the upper tier of the Anfield Road Stand. The lounge opens up 3 hours before the game and for 1 hour after the game. It gets extremely busy, so seating in the lounge area cannot be guaranteed!

5. Where to Sit

Anfield comprises four main stands:

  • Main Stand: The largest stand with modern facilities, offering excellent views of the pitch.
  • The Kop: Officially known as the Spion Kop (allegedly it means Spy lookout), it’s home to the most passionate supporters. It’s known for its vibrant atmosphere. Most fans will stand for the game. There are safe standing rails.
  • Sir Kenny Dalglish Stand: Provides a balanced view and is family-friendly.
  • Anfield Road Stand: Hosts away supporters in the lower tier next to the Main Stand, and offers a unique perspective of the match.

For an interactive seating plan, visit the 3D seatmap.

6. Getting There

  • Address: Anfield Road, Liverpool, L4 0TH, United Kingdom
  • Nearest Stations: Liverpool Lime Street (2 miles), Sandhills Station (1 mile)
  • Matchday Tip: Arrive early to soak in the pre-match atmosphere and avoid congestion.

Public transport is your best bet and within Liverpool strongly consider using the available bus services. If you’re arriving from outside Liverpool, both the train station and the airport are reasonably well connected. Although Manchester airport for international flights from the USA is probably your best bet.

Train

Lime Street Station is Liverpool’s main train station. https://maps.app.goo.gl/HLXMaxE4HTh5PsQHA It’s the one that you will arrive at if you're coming from other towns and cities in the UK. However there are a number of smaller train stations dotted around Liverpool which may be useful if you are commuting in from the Liverpool suburbs. See the network map for details of the stations. There isn’t really a convenient train station for Anfield, the closest is Sandhills Train station where on match days there’s a connecting bus to Anfield.

Bus

You can get from downtown Liverpool to Anfield in 15 minutes using one of the express buses. The 917 bus leaves from St John’s Lane (https://maps.app.goo.gl/nBNt3RLbt7caNe5G6) in the downtown area, near to Lime Street Station. After the match the return service departs from Walton Lane. Buses will be stacked on Walton Lane from the junction with Walton Breck Road to Anfield Road. Please respect other supporters and join the rear of the queue. You can pay for tickets via the Stagecoach App, in cash (no large bills, have change), or contactless payment including Apple and Google Pay. An adult return costs £4 or £2 for a child ticket.

There are other buses you can take from downtown Liverpool including the 26 (from Liverpool One Shopping Mall: https://maps.app.goo.gl/eWTytN7KxwRACr436), 17 (from Queen Square bus station: https://maps.app.goo.gl/qe2ypxFgG7rzw4vcA), 926 (from Liverpool One shopping mall on match days only starting 3.5 hours before the match).

Soccerbus

The Soccerbus connects with Sandhills Train Station (https://maps.app.goo.gl/no6i25UVjoTkT6a2A). The service starts 2 hours before the game. The last Soccerbus leaves Anfield 75 minutes after the end of the game.

Car

There is very little parking near to the stadium and there are a number of road closures around Anfield on match days too. Anfield sits in the middle of a residential area, meaning the streets are narrow with only on-street parking available for residents only. If you park in one of these areas, there is a high chance you will receive a fine.

There are a number of parking lots in the downtown Liverpool area which are paid for normally using contactless payments (including Apple and Google Pay) or by using an app. Check the signage in the parking lot carefully which will have instructions on how to pay. Again do make sure to pay otherwise there is a high probability of getting a fine.

If you are going to drive, the zipcode (postcode) for the sat nav is: L4 0TH.

There are a few unofficial parking lots that appear for match days. One such place is a local high school (North Liverpool Academy: https://maps.app.goo.gl/9shcYij2ieJa3KxZ9). This costs £10 (cash only!!). You cannot pre-book spaces, it’s on a first come first served basis. It opens 3 hours before the match starts and for one hour afterwards. Use L5 0SQ for sat navs. It’s a 20 minute walk from the parking lot to Anfield. More information available here: https://www.northliverpoolacademy.co.uk/page/?title=Match+Day%2FEvents+Parking&pid=168

Alternatively Anfield junior school: https://maps.app.goo.gl/gXdHn7sYnPySTXvGA has spaces (no pre-booking available, first come first served basis), or All Saints Primary School: https://maps.app.goo.gl/FyfG2i5foueM4J3j9

If you wish, you can pre-book a parking space using https://www.justpark.com/uk/parking/anfield/

Taxi

Uber works in Liverpool and is probably the easiest for international visitors to use. Although Taxi One operates a shared taxi scheme on match days which operates like a bus. It starts 3.5 hours before the match starts, and only costs £2. The service in downtown Liverpool starts from here: https://maps.app.goo.gl/wBy6DZiiHFaLmCGX7

If you have luggage that you need to store during the game, they will store your luggage (make sure to have luggage tags with your name on each item) and then collect you after the game too. They can also transfer you to Manchester or Liverpool airports (extra charges will apply). This service is only available on match days. http://taxi-one.co.uk/taxi-one-on-lfc-match-days/

The map shows the nearest taxi ranks, the Taxi One rank is located here: https://maps.app.goo.gl/rWMFGEJ7vNyssDW66

If you choose to use a local taxi, make sure that they engage the meter. You should not negotiate a separate rate. Taxis from downtown Liverpool to Anfield normally cost about £8-£10.

Bicycle

The Cycle Hub is a FREE service that allows fans who cycle to the game to drop-off and park their bike safely and securely with an attendant. The Cycle Hub is situated at the top of Stanley Park Car Park (https://maps.app.goo.gl/xSFFLZFkC4N5iLuL7), a few minutes’ walk from the Anfield Road end of the Stadium. Simply ride to the Cycle Hub, where staff will register and secure your bike. You will need to ensure that you have a cycle lock with you. Make sure to keep the receipt that they give you as you will need this to collect your bicycle afterwards.

You can hire bicycles with City Bike Hire: https://explore-liverpool.com/city-bike-liverpool/

Walk

Anfield is a 40 to 60 minute walk from Lime Street Railway station. We would recommend catching a bus or the Liverpool one taxi (on match days, otherwise Uber).

Airport

Officially it’s called the Liverpool John Lennon Airport (airport code: LPL) and although it’s an international airport it is quite small. It really only serves domestic, European (including Iceland which can easily connect to North America), North African and Middle Eastern destinations. It’s located South West of the city, and the best method to get to/from the downtown is by bus (use the 500 service which operates every 30 minutes 24 hours a day) or by taxi.

7. Food, Drink & Pubs

Some of the best pubs to visit before the game include:

For food, there are world class restaurants in downtown Liverpool. Around Anfield there are some more down to earth food options (fast food), but here’s some of the best:

Next to Lime Street station is St John’s shopping mall. It has a food court inside: https://maps.app.goo.gl/vgxnPh94Yu7BgaVc7

Inside Anfield, the Main Stand and the Kop you can find draught lager, cider, soda and tea/coffee (of questionable quality). As for food, you’ll find savoury pies, fish and chips, hot dogs, burgers, chicken burgers, pizza and nachos. There’s also some pick and mix candy available. In the Kenny Dalglish and Anfield Road Stand, you’ll find bottled beer, cider, soda and tea/coffee (of questionable quality). As for food, again you’ll find hot dogs and burgers. Better to eat outside and soak up the atmosphere at one of the pubs.

8. Tips for Tourists

What to Wear: Dress in Liverpool FC colors (red) to show support. Check the weather forecast and dress appropriately. Do not wear blue the color of their local rivals Everton (jeans will be ok).

What Not to Do: Avoid wearing rival team colors (especially blue) and refrain from bringing prohibited items.

Entry Process: Ensure you have your ticket(s) ready for scanning. Add them to the app before you travel as cell phone coverage can be overwhelmed around stadiums before and during the games. Note that bag searches are conducted, and certain items like bottle caps may be confiscated.

Match Atmosphere: The Kop is renowned for its passionate singing and chanting. If you prefer a quieter experience, consider seating in other stands.

Website is available in different languages such as: German, Italian, Spanish, French, Portuguese, Japanese, and Indonesian.

There may be a dress code when using the hospitality packages. All details will be listed in your email, so please read that carefully.

Whilst children are allowed in the hospitality packages, all of them will require a hospitality package ticket and will need to be accompanied by an adult hospitality package ticket holder too.

Bags are not permitted in the stadium. The only exception is small bags A5 size (148.5 x 210 mm / 5.8 x 8.3 inches) or LFC Superstore clear carrier bags containing superstore products only. Bags will be subjected to a search on entry point. If you need to bring a bag larger than this, you should let the club know via email at least 48 hours beforehand. You can only take a larger bag if it's needed for medical equipment.

For games played at the weekend (Saturday/Sunday), there is a bag drop facility for anything which is not permitted into the stadium located 5 minutes from the Kop at Christ Church, 157 Hartnup Street, L5 1UW. Cost is £5. It’s open 3 hours before the game and for 1 hour after the game.

For games played Monday to Friday, there is a bag drop facility for anything which is not permitted into the stadium located at the Museum & Tours entrance, on Paisley Square. Cost is £5. Opens 3 hours before the game and for 1 hour after the game.

A multi faith prayer room is available at Anfield. The prayer room is accessible from 97 Avenue and located next to the hospitality ticket collection booth. This will be available to use from 3 hours before kick-off and up to 1 hour after the final whistle.

Fan zone: Paisley Square is open four hours before kick-off and is the ideal spot for supporters to meet before the game and soak up Anfield’s unique atmosphere.

There is a specific family zone (where faces can be painted) in the Anfield Road Stand.

Toilets and amenities are also available outside the stadium at Stanley Park, Dahlia Walk, Paisley Square and the Sir Kenny Dalglish Car Park.

Liverpool is a cashless stadium, so card payments are only available inside the stadium. Apple and Google Pay are both accepted.

Flags under 2m x 1m with a small pole (less than 7mm diameter and less than 1m long) will be allowed in all areas of the stadium. Flags must not contain anything considered to be offensive, discriminatory, defamatory or inflammatory, including politically motivated or nationalistic messaging.

Large bags/suitcases, large umbrellas, drones, tools, multi-tool, pen knives, glass bottles, musical instruments, laptops/tablet (eg ipad), baby buggies/prams alcohol, etc are all NOT allowed inside the stadium. Do not bring smoke canisters or fireworks/flares etc to the stadium.

You can bring a small camera, a small foldable umbrella, and a clear 500ml plastic bottle of water (it must be unopened, i.e. it still has the seal). Crutches are allowed.

Tickets are now digitalised. You can open them from the Liverpool FC app, or add them to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet.

9. Tours & Museum

Liverpool FC has a stand alone museum that you visit, and has several different tours of Anfield too. Most tours last about 75 minutes, and the museum will take about 30 minutes. The Stadium Tour begins at the Stadium Tours Reception inside the Main Stand, opposite the Liverpool store. The closest bus stop and taxi drop off is on Walton Breck Road (A5089). The stadium tours are normally available 7 days a week, between 10am to 3pm. The museum is open between 9.30am to 5pm. Tickets bought in advance are cheaper (listed below). If you buy on the same day as your visit you will pay £2 extra per ticket. If you wish to take a photo with the trophies, you will need to pay extra (See prices here: https://faq.liverpoolfc.com/articles/tour-information/can-i-purchase-any-souvenirs-whilst-visiting-for-a-tour/65969c1f74e6ff44331e56a1).

Please note that bags and suitcases are not permitted on the tours. Only the small bags (same size as the match day bags: A5 paper size) are permitted. Lime Street Railway station has left luggage or use: http://www.stasher.com

There is parking available on non-matchdays, in Stanley Park car park which is located on the corner of Utting Avenue and Priory Road (L4 0TQ). Although on Everton womens games, the car park might be restricted.

For disabled fans, your personal assistant can visit for free (if buying online make sure to still buy a PA ticket, it will be free). You will need to bring supporting documents to ensure that you are actually disabled. For international fans, you should email the disability team and discuss what is/isn’t required. The tour areas are fully accessible to wheelchair users and there is an accessible toilet by the museum. There is free parking for your visit to The LFC Stadium Tour. There are 50 accessible parking spaces at Stanley Car Park (L4 0TQ).

The Museum

You’ll see all of Liverpool’s trophies (replicas) and it has a cool interactive display. The museum displays the history of the club from its very start to the present day. It’s self guided so you can take as long as you need. This you can visit at any time of day, you just choose the day you want to visit. Last entry to the museum is at 4.30pm so plan accordingly. The club recommends that an average visit last 30 minutes.

The Stadium Tour

These are audio guided tours of the stadium (available in English, Spanish, German, French, Italian, Chinese, Thai, Indonesian, Arabic, Japanese, Norwegian, Dutch, Portuguese, and British Sign Language). The tour includes access to the museum, and on the tour you’ll visit Home Team’s Locker Room, Players Tunnel, see the famous “This is Anfield” sign, the media room, the managers dugout and go pitchside too. You will need to select a day and time for your visit. They have timed slots between approximately 10am to 3pm depending on the day.

MatchDay Stadium Tour

On this tour which occurs on the same day as the home matches, you will get to visit all the same areas as the normal tour (except the locker room & media room). You will get to go on the complete tour of Anfield, and also visit the museum too. Times are much more restricted in availability, and the player you will have depends on the day you visit. So if time isn’t an issue and you want a specific player, it’s worth changing the date of your visit to coincide with the player you want. Change the dates of your visit to see what other players are available.

The Anfield Experience

This is a premium tour and you’ll get to visit places inside Anfield that you do not on the regular tour. There will be live music, visits from former players with a question and answer session, and you will have a compere on hand too. You will have food (hot and cold buffet) and drink (arrival drink and refreshments during the day, and not only do you get to go on a tour of Anfield, but you will also get access to the museum too. Liverpool FC recommend booking 3 months in advance.

Ultimate LFC Experience

This tour includes a visit to Melwood training facility. You will also get a guided tour of Anfield visiting all the same areas as the normal tour. Like the Anfield Experience you will also get entertainment during the day, a question and answer session from a former men’s player, get food (cold and hot buffet) and drink, a compere will be on hand too. 10. Accessibility

Anfield prides itself on being an inclusive and welcoming venue for all supporters. Liverpool FC offers a range of facilities and services to ensure disabled and accessibility-needs fans can enjoy their matchday experience in comfort and safety.

Accessible Stewards & Support

LFC’s dedicated Accessibility Stewards are on hand to assist throughout the stadium. They are easily identifiable in blue bibs and trained to help with access needs. If you require support on matchday or in advance, the club’s Disability Ticketing Team is the best point of contact.

Wheelchair Bays

Wheelchair users are well accommodated at Anfield, with a total of 257 wheelchair spaces spread across the stadium, located either pitchside or in elevated viewing areas:

Stand Wheelchair Bays Viewing Position
Main Stand 111 Mix of pitchside and elevated
Sir Kenny Dalglish Stand 40 Elevated
The Kop 52 Pitchside
Anfield Road End 54 Mix of pitchside and elevated
Away Supporters Up to 24 Pitchside

Hospitality wheelchair spaces are also available in the Main Stand and Sir Kenny Dalglish Stand.

Note: There are no internal storage facilities for wheelchairs or walking aids. Supporters who use such equipment to get to the stadium should contact the Disability Ticketing Team in advance for assistance. This does not apply to supporters with pre-booked wheelchair bays.

Ambulant & Easy Access Seating

Ambulant disabled fans can request seating at ground level or in other parts of the stadium, subject to availability. However, supporters with limited mobility are strongly advised to avoid booking in the upper tiers due to evacuation requirements. All fans must be able to exit the stadium quickly in the event of an emergency.

Accessible Entrances

There are nine accessible entrances around Anfield, each designed to ensure smooth access to viewing areas for disabled supporters.

Accessible Toilets & Changing Facilities

Accessible toilets are located throughout the ground and clearly signposted. Each facility includes:

  • Support rails
  • Lever taps
  • Mirrors
  • Coat hooks and hand dryers at accessible height
  • High-contrast décor
  • Emergency pull cords

Two Changing Places facilities are available: one in the Kop and one in the Main Stand. A RADAR key is required for entry; stewards nearby can provide one if needed.

Sensory Room

For fans with sensory needs, Anfield offers a Sensory Room in the Sir Kenny Dalglish Stand. This purpose-built space includes:

  • Specialist equipment
  • Unrestricted pitch views behind soundproof glass
  • A calm, controlled environment

The Sensory Room opens two hours before kick-off.

Commentary for Blind Supporters

Anfield offers headsets with live commentary for blind or partially sighted supporters. These must be ordered in advance by contacting the Disability Ticketing Team.

Supporters Using Oxygen

If you are attending with oxygen equipment, you must notify the Disability Ticketing Team prior to your visit.

Accessible Parking & Drop-Off

Matchday Car Parking

Accessible parking spaces are available for registered disabled supporters. Due to high demand, spaces cannot be guaranteed and operate via a ballot system. At the start of each season, you can register your interest for a parking bay via the ‘My Account’ section on the LFC website. If successful for a game, you’ll receive a digital parking pass for your phone.

Drop-Off Locations

On matchday, two accessible drop-off points are in operation near the stadium:

  • Gilman Street (close to the Kop and Main Stand)
  • Oakfield Road

Additional drop-off locations (subject to road closures) include:

  • Arkles Lane / Wylva Road (L4 2PS)
  • Gilman Street (L4 0SN)
  • Oakfield Road (L4 0UQ)

Stadium Tour and Museum

For disabled fans, your personal assistant can visit for free (if buying online make sure to still buy a PA ticket, it will be free). You will need to bring supporting documents to ensure that you are actually disabled. For international fans, you should email the disability team and discuss what is/isn’t required. The tour areas are fully accessible to wheelchair users and there is an accessible toilet by the museum. There is free parking for your visit to The LFC Stadium Tour. There are 50 accessible parking spaces at Stanley Car Park (L4 0TQ). Assitance dogs are allowed, and there is a hearing loop at the Stadium Tour Reception area. The British Sign Language Tour is self guided and is a digital guide for you to use.
